Discover the region
Discover the Loiret: its château’s, religious buildings, museums, the most beautiful villages in France and its towns of art and history. The Loire will guide you as you discover part of France's largest World Heritage Site. Cycling along its banks, you'll discover the different character traits of this river, sometimes peaceful and indolent, sometimes fiery and tumultuous. All these natural scenes come to life in fine weather during festive events such as the "Festival de Loire" and the "Fêtes Johanniques", which bring the merchant Loire back to life.
